Paige Hemmis' DIY Giant Christmas Lights

Materials:

• 10 ii-liter bottles (empty soda bottles are the best to employ)
• 10 Cafeteria cups, about 6" high and about 5" in bore
• 10 Plastic drinking cups (can use clear Solo cups)
• one Gear up of LED string lights (LED keep the temperature down then definitely don't skimp on this part of the projection!)
• Stained glass spray paint in several colors (yellow, ruby, green and royal)
• Pipe insulation (any size to cover your string lights)
• Dark greenish spray paint
• Black spray paint
• PLUG – one waste matter basket bin (I used a 7 gallon but you tin can use whatever size you would like)
• Styrofoam ½" slice nearly 24" 10 24"
• Gold spray paint
• Hot glue
• Super glue
• Craft knife
• Scissors
• Floral wire
• Wire cutter
• Optional: Super glue accelerator
• Optional: Drill with round drill scrap (tin can use arts and crafts pocketknife instead)
• Optional: Dremel circular cutter (tin utilise a craft pocketknife instead)

Instructions

1. Take your Dremel tool (or craft knife) and cut off the tiptop of the 2-liter bottle merely below the lip (where the cap would become).
