Description
The days when your garage or your workshop was a mess are over! With this Craftsman(R) cabinet, your tools will always be well organized. Made of durable steel with a red and black coating, it features ten drawers with smooth-closing ball bearing slides, offering all the necessary storage. In addition, some of the drawers are wider, others are deeper, which lets you enjoy more versatility in terms of storage. This cabinet is also equipped with four heavy duty casters, as well as a top surface made of rubber. With its width of 41", its height of 37.5", and its depth of 18", this tool cabinet is the storage unit you need. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty.

Does the 41 inch width include the handle. How wide is it without the handle exactly.
There is a metal lip along both sides which slightly increases the width to 41.25in without the handle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Eugene from Over priced - Cheap Construction I purchased this chest with the lower unit which has its own issues. But this top chest came out of the box with a crocked top door and structs that were rubbing on the inside of the cabinet. Overall very poor quality for the price. Spend a little more money and get a nice tool chest that isn't cutting corners. I have an old Craftsman tool chest that was made before Stanley Black&Decker bought Craftsman. This isn't a Craftsman product. It's a cheap Black&Deck product and all you're paying for is the name.

Rated 1 out of 5 by stevieb75 from Brought it back to the store The casters on the bottom are installed with sheet metal screws, not machined screws with some kind of bolt. That will not support the listed weight over a lifetime of use. Also, appears to be painted, not powder coated. The paint job had many blemishes and was easily scratched. Interesting is that the store floor model had machine screws for the caster. I suspect there is some cost focused re-engineering going on here.

I love that it keeps my tools in neat organized way. I know where they are and love having them next to my hand built work bench. The side handle is helpful in more ways than just a handle. I also like that it has an add on option on the side for future expansion. I added the no slip liner in each drawer and use p-touch labels on each drawer marking the type of tools I have placed in each drawer. I find it very helpful and makes projects go by quicker. I might be adding an upper tool box in the near future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mukyluk from Good Box Bought this to go on top of old Craftsman Waterloo box I've had since the 90's. Width wise it fits great. Isn't as deep as the old boxes. The color is way off. Can spot a mile away when stacked. Over all I like the box. Drawers slide nice and smooth. Not alot of side play in them at all. Doesn't come with drawer mats. Does come with Mat for charging area. 4/5 stars because of the major difference in color and smaller depth then bottom box.

It was clearly a model that had been on the floor and had two corners dented. All still worked and functioned as it should, but blemished nonetheless. And with the option being to reload it up onto my truck and take it back, I opted to accept that it was merely a cosmetic flaw only.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cpweightlifter from Same old style craftsman This tool box was made by one of the original suppliers of craftsman toolboxes, Waterloo industries and they do a great job. It's the traditional I-frame design with tried and true dimensions that are accurate. The paint is a newer shade of Craftsman but overall the product showcases the same features people who love quality will enjoy. The product also has the soft close feature and new accessories to purchase to make it more useful than ever. I picked up the power strip and magnetic paper towel holder and both should also provide years of quality use and some wear and tear.
